This is it! It’s GAME TIME!
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
Sending a reminder and an Information Sheet to infrequent Democratic Voters in Pennsylvania who have signed up for Vote by Mail (VBM). They are already Democrats and they don’t need to be persuaded – we just need to help them vote. And the more people we can get to vote early, the easier it will be for our army of phone bankers, text bankers and door knockers to hyper-focus on people who haven’t voted.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS:
The terrific news is we have sent out over 135,000 vote-by-mail applications and more than 100,000 Democrats who did NOT vote in 2016 have now registered to vote-by-mail (Trump beat Clinton by only 44,000 votes in 2016). By helping people register to vote-by-mail, we now have five weeks to Get Out The Vote, instead of it all coming down to one day when people might have a childcare problem, or can’t get off work, or face long lines, or fear exposure to Covid. We are pivoting in our next effort to trying to ensure that the folks who have signed up for vote-by-mail have the information they need to vote effectively by sending information and a graphic image.
